I cook just for one person. I purchased half of a Chicken breast with bones for less than $3.00 @ the grocery store and baked it. It was enough for 4 meals and a Chicken Salad . There was a lot of meat and now the bones will be used in broth

I think pantry cooking videos are my favourite these days. :)

I do my own frozen broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts when they're in season and cheaper. You just have to blanch them before freezing. I'm not too fond of ground beef but my partner just made meatloaf using half ground beef and half ground pork (plus seasonings, etc) and it was really tasty. Thanks for another great video Maria. 💜

Pour a little boiling water over the salmon skin and it will peel right off using a paper towel.

Question about salad dressings and bottled sauces in the fridge: do you have a cutoff date as to when you wouldn't consume them or use them in a recipe? I've read that if something has vinegar in it it lasts for a long time. How do you assess whether to use a bottle or just throw it out? Thoughts, anyone?

I cut my squeeze bottles open to get the rest out, it is so frustrating how much was left. Going to make some of these for summer lunches.

The corn dip and the chicken, bacon ranch pasta salad…next on my menu! I have all the ingredients and they need to be used up!

Ok, I know what I’m making for work lunches now, I only have cans of tuna, spam, so I’ll do pasta salad with those (my jar of mayo needs to be used up) and all the ingredients for the corn dip!

I like the small meatloaf alternative

I have cooked 3 sheet pan meals in the last week. Easy and cleanup is great. I cook enough for 2 days and great for me as a single senior. I don't like to stand in the kitchen too long anymore. These recipes look delicious.

Green is the first stage of the bell pepper vs the other peppers are ripe that's why they taste better.
